Never lose a memory again.

KEPT backs up your computer or phone, in a completely secure way that only you have access to. Never lose valuable files again.

Back Up My Digital Life

Your kids' first steps. Your parents' voices. Twenty years of photos. Backed up automatically, locked so only you can open them, and all it takes to start is your phone number.

Why Kept

A phone gets dropped. A laptop dies. The memories shouldn't go with them.

Kept app — Cloud Backup screen showing all data backed up across iPhone, MacBook, iPad, and iMac

Everything backs up by itself, the moment it happens, you never have to remember to save anything again

Kept app — Enter OTP screen with 6-digit code sent by text message

No passwords to invent or forget. If you can receive a text, you can protect everything you love. All managed by your phone number.

Kept app — Family Memories shared album with family member avatars

Locked so only you can open it. Not our staff, not hackers. Your memories are yours alone, or whoever you choose to share with.

Fully Private

We never see your photos. Our staff and servers can't open them.

Every file is encrypted and the only way to access it is through a phone OTP going to the phone number that you yourself set up.

Understanding the Technology

Yes, it's blockchain.
We're about a decade late to that party.

In our defence, we brought the person who threw it.

Every file is sealed with a key that only ever exists on your devices. Blockchain is the part that proves it — mathematically, not as a promise buried in a privacy policy. We cannot open your library. Neither can anyone who breaks into our servers, because there is nothing there to read.

Kept was built from the ground up by Stuart Haber, one of the original co-founders of blockchain. Building it from scratch meant he could finally fix the part everybody quietly hates — the seed phrase. Your account runs on your phone number instead.

The usual way

Twelve words on a scrap of paper. Lose the paper, lose everything — a strange way to run a backup, when you think about it.

The Difference

Other clouds store your files. We protects them.

Every file is encrypted and the only way to access it is through a phone OTP going to the phone number that you yourself set up.

Sharing, Your Way

Some memories are meant to be shared. You choose which, and with whom.

Grandma gets the baby photos. Instantly.

Type her phone number, pick the album, done. She gets a text, taps once, and every new photo of the grandkids appears for her automatically — no app-store hunting, no account to create, no password to walk her through.

Shared albums stay locked between your devices and theirs — still invisible to us.

Change your mind? One tap and it's yours again.

People change. An ex, an old friend, a landlord who no longer needs that lease folder — take access back with one tap and it disappears from their devices instantly. You always hold the guest list.

Only you can see who has access and who opened what.
